Ability to modify a existing order

Require the ability to modify an existing order. Currently the only option is to cancel an entire order. This is not an ideal customer experience.
IF order status is UNPAID, allow the baker to add or remove items.
IF order status is PAID, allow the baker to remove items and this partially refunds the order to the original payment method. Justification: there is an issue with the baker being able to fulfil the entire order so the baker needs to be able to remove item(s) from the order.

Hey! Partial refunds are already available. On an order that is paid via CC, look for the Pencil icon located next to the Products section on the Order Details page

Mendel Engel for partial refunds is that canceling a specific item in the order and refund for that item or can I adjust an order and after payment give a percent or dollar amount off for a reason I may have and not necessarily remove an item from the order?

Karen Devine you do both. You can choose to either refund a partial dollar amount WITHOUT removing any items from the order, or you can also remove the items themselves from the order.

Mendel Engel Really need the ability to modify all the orders, not just paid by cc. For example, today I had a customer who forgot to use their six dollar coupon. It was a fairly large order and it would’ve been a pain in the butt to Cancel it and have her re-enter the whole thing. Would’ve liked the ability to just apply the credit. We really do need more flexibility in managing saved orders. For now, I’ve used the bakers note feature to remind myself to manually cross out the total on her order when she picks it up. Not ideal when you have lots to manage on that day.
