My situation would also mean I'd love to have a way to allow them to tell me when they need the product (custom cookie orders). I need them to be able to tell me when they want them + a couple of other "custom" fields for open text boxes (ex: adding a name to the cookie, "what name?")

Order anytime would be open, but I need advance notice, so the ability to control the "order needed by..." date.

Yes yes a THOUSAND times yes. A lot of people are too impulsive to bother with a pre order and it’s a pain to have constant bake days open to try and accommodate this.

Also placing an order and I can set the amount of time I need to complete it. Like if they order a loaf I can set the website to say it will be ready for pickup in “x” number of days.

The product library is great except that it has the "unavailable" next to it, making it so customers think they can't order items if they are not attached to a bake day. The literal reason for the library, is so someone can place a manual order for an item outside of a bake day, so I'm not sure I understand why the availability is tied to bake days. Instead, add instructions on the product library to tell customers they can sort and filter through the full menu. Manual custom orders can be made by contacting the xxx-xxx-xxxx number or xxxxx email.

I would love this for items like selling a recipe or sourdough starters. I have a lot of customers asking for both, but they hesitate to order via the website since it is tied to a certain day for pick up. It is difficult informing each person that they can pick those items up whenever.

For recipes though, being able to send a digital copy of the recipe via email? Is that something that would be possible? Similar to the attached screenshot of another website that does something similar but calls it their digital guides. This would be a huge bonus!

YES!!! Maybe the ability to extend the ordering time on a bake day to several days or until sold out! I know if I make 25 loaves and I haven’t sold them in the window allowed I would like to extend the order window, without having to create a new bake day.

I agree! I like to set a menu for the entire week and would like the option for customers to be able to order what works for them.
