Modify existing orders

Customers call all the time asking to add things to their order. Instead of creating a second order. I have gone in and tried to manually do it for them by creating a second order, but it will not let me generate it. So ultimately, I Have to make them place a second order any way. Is there something I’m missing? It would be great to be able to add items and send them an invoice/Payment link.

Sometimes customers request items on days that are not associated to a regular bake day. I would like to have a way to add these orders to keep track of them and print invoices without having to set a bake day. Perhaps there could be an ongoing open bake day, only visible to the bakers, for us to add custom orders, that could be sorted by and printed by date? Right now, I am having to track these orders outside the system. Ideally, I would like to have everything in the system. There will need to be a way to delete fulfilled orders not just cancel them. I can put together a requirements spec for you if you like – I used to be a BA.

Agree 100% with this one. Many times I manually put in an order for a customer, they text after I send a link wanting to add to the order. I can 1. Cancel and put in another order with additional items, 2. Have them finish that transaction and start a 2nd with new items. Just editing an existing order would be ideal.
