Tap to Pay is now available! Please make sure to update you app to the latest version (4.34.0).
Go to the POS System page found in the Menu tab to setup and use the Tap to Pay feature.

Mendel Engel thanks for getting this working. Are the fees the same for online payments? Will we be able to adjust who pays the fees and will it show the person paying if they have to pay fees?

Karen Devine Tap to Pay transactions do not incur any Simply Bread platform fee. The CC processing fee is 2.7% + 15c per transaction.
In an upcoming release in the next couple weeks, you will be able to pass the fee on to the customer. Right now it is paid by the baker.

while yes, there is an option to use stripe for a POS, the higher cost of entry into the POS system can be a problem for small producers. Square offers a $60 square tap hardware. I would love to see that functionality come to simply bread app, to really support smaller producers growing into pop ups and markets.

I would also love this. I want wanting to add card payments for markets but I want it integrated to simply bread.

I tried setting up square and it was SUCH a pain I ended up deleting it because it was to complicated! Simply bread, so much easier!

This would be AWESOMEEEEE because I would rather use simply bread instead of square, but I have a square tap card thingy too.
